The Vendor Transaction History gives you a complete view of a vendor’s transactions in one place. No more searching across bills, receipts, POs, and time sheets to answer questions like "Did we pay this vendor?" or "What's our outstanding balance?"
How to Access Transaction History
Go to Vendors from the left sidebar.
Click on a vendor to open their profile.
Select the Transactions tab.
What You'll See
The Transactions tab shows a table of all transactions for that vendor, including:
Column | Description |
Ref # | The transaction reference number |
Date | Transaction date |
Amount | Transaction amount (with a grand total at the bottom) |
Status | Current status of the transaction |
Type | Bill, Receipt, Time Sheet, Vendor Credit, or Purchase Order |
Account / Cost Code | The cost code or account assigned |
Job | The associated job |
Filtering and Sorting
Click any column header to sort. The default sort is by date (newest first). Use the filter controls to narrow down the transaction list:
Filter | Description |
Date range | Filter to a specific time period |
Account | Filter by specific accounts |
Billable status | Filter based on "Has been billed", "Billable" or "Not billable" |
Cost Code | Filter by Cost Codes |
Draw status | Filter based on the available status options of the Draw |
Employee | Filter transactions based on employee |
Job | Filter by project |
Status | Filter by transaction status |
Transaction type | Show only Bills, Receipts, Time Sheets, Vendor Credits, or Purchase Orders |
Taking Action
Click any row to navigate directly to that transaction. Purchase orders open in a new tab for easy reference.
