1. Change Order Signatures
Send change orders to clients for e-signature directly from Adaptive — no DocuSign required.
Three change order types:
External — client-facing, sent for e-signature via magic link (no client login required)
Internal — team use only, can be marked as signed internally
Budget Modification — zero-dollar reallocation between line items
Signed copies are stored and downloadable. Owner email is configured in job-specific settings. Additional files can be attached before sending.
To access: Job → Changes tab → Build a change order → Set change type → Send for signature
2. Inactive Approval Workflows
Pause a workflow without deleting it. Reactivate at any time.
Useful for employees on leave, onboarding new clients, or building workflows in advance before go-live.
To access: Automations → Approval Workflows → Click into a workflow → Toggle active/inactive
3. Solve Sync Errors with AI
A new Solve with AI button on any sync error walks you through the cause and resolution without contacting support. Covers the most common errors including closed books and QuickBooks Desktop web connector issues.
To access: Any bill or transaction with a sync error → Solve with AI
