Pin your most-used tabs
Click Accounting data in the sidebar, pin the sections you use most (Draws, Bills, Change Orders, Expenses), then minimize the sidebar. Your pinned sections stay visible as icons.
Add attachments to a change order
Documents you want the client to see are added at the Send for signature step, not in the comments section. (The comments-section attachment is for internal reference.) No signatures on your tier? You can still add documents in the comment section after saving.
Send a change order for external signature
This requires change order signatures enabled on your account. If you don't see the option to pick a change order type after saving, contact support to turn it on.
Filter bills by draw status
If you pay subs after the owner pays you, go to Ready for Pay and filter by Draw Status:
Linked to a paid draw — ready to pay
Linked to an unpaid draw — still waiting on owner payment
Not linked to a draw — review these
Set job visibility + approval workflows
Set who can see each job and assign a project manager. Then build one approval workflow using the project manager on job role, so bills automatically route to whoever manages that job — no need for a separate workflow per manager.
Use the AI Assistant for reports and bulk tasks
Prompt it in plain language, like "Create a report of all unpaid bills with job and amount, A to Z, as an Excel file." You can refine columns, formatting, and sort order, then download as Excel or PDF. It also handles bulk tasks (resetting job visibility, turning on change orders for all projects, emailing clients about unpaid draws). If a task fails, contact support in chat.
Export a WIP report to PDF
Export to Excel and print/save as PDF, or ask the AI Assistant to produce it as a PDF with the columns and layout you want.
