AI Assistant

Learn how to access and use the AI Assistant to ask questions, upload documents, and manage AI-powered requests in Adaptive.

The AI Assistant allows you to ask questions, upload documents, and request actions directly within Adaptive. It can help complete tasks on your behalf and will always request approval before making any changes.

1. Access the AI Assistant

To open the AI Assistant:

  1. Navigate to the top-right corner of the screen.

  2. Click the AI Assistant chat icon.

This opens the assistant panel where you can begin interacting with it.

2. Ask Questions or Provide Prompts

Once the AI Assistant is open, you can interact with it directly.

You can:

  • Ask questions

  • Upload documents

  • Provide prompts or instructions

After entering your request, click Send to submit it.

3. View Conversation History

You can access previous conversations with the AI Assistant.

To view history:

  1. Click the arrow icon in the top-right corner of the assistant.

  2. Select Conversation History.

Within the history view, you can see:

  • Full conversation history

  • Items awaiting follow-up

  • In-progress agents

4. Run Multiple Requests

The AI Assistant supports running multiple requests at the same time.

While a request is being processed, you can:

  • Navigate to other conversations

  • Review conversation history

  • Create new requests

This allows you to work on several tasks simultaneously.

5. Use Full Screen or Close the Assistant

You can adjust how the AI Assistant appears on your screen.

Options include:

  • Full Screen β€” expand the assistant for a larger workspace

  • Close β€” click the two right arrows on the right side of the panel

6. Approve Actions Before Changes Are Made

If the AI Assistant is asked to perform actions such as deleting or uploading items, it will request approval before making changes.

Important: The AI Assistant will not make changes without your approval. It will first display the proposed changes and wait for confirmation.
