📥 Customizable Exports (First Stop: WIP)
No more fixed formats. Now, when you export from the Work in Progress table, your export will match the column layout on screen, and you can tweak it however you like before downloading.

🧾 Receipt Approvals Are Here (Live for Everyone!)
It’s official: receipt approvals are now live for all users.
Just like bills, you can now:
Set up approval workflows for receipts
Use fallback logic
Bulk approve
Track everything in a new "Waiting for Approval" tab
Clients are already loving this one, especially those who want tighter cost controls in the field.
🧠 Smart Approvals: People-on-Job + Budget Rules
Approvals just got sharper.
People on Job You can now assign approval steps based on who’s actually on the job, not just their role. It’s perfect for builders who want workflows tied directly to project staffing.
Budget Rules Want to trigger approvals based on how close a bill is to budget? Now you can:
Trigger when within or exceeding a budget
Use percent or dollar thresholds
Example: Require approval when a line item is within 10% of budget or exceeds it by $500.
✍️ Better Approvals UX (Especially for Bosses)
We made some adjustments to how "Bypass Approvals" works so it’s less confusing:
If you're in the approval workflow: you'll see an Approve button first, Bypass second
If you’ve already approved: Approve is disabled with an explanation + link to Bypass
If you're not in the workflow: Bypass is the main action
In all cases, you can always access Bypass via the … menu.
📌 Pinned Columns in WIP
Working in wide tables just got easier. You can now pin columns in WIP so they stay in view while you scroll. Start with your job name, pin your notes column… whatever helps you stay oriented.

Journal Entries now on Budgets + Jobs pages
Previously only visible on WIP, journal entries now feed into budgets and jobs too for our QuickBooks Online users.
Vendor Docs = No Attachment Required
You can now add vendor docs without needing to upload a file, perfect for tracking expiration dates when you don’t have everything on hand yet.
Default People on Job
Want the same team on every job? Set your defaults once in Settings and let Adaptive do the rest.
New toggle for Retainage fields
Easily switch between percentage and dollar values. A small tweak that makes managing retainage simpler and more intuitive.
