AI Automation Page Overview

The Automations page centralizes key automation tools, including AI Rules, Approvals Workflow, and AI Agent Settings. Use this page to review AI-generated values, create rules, and provide feedback that improves future predictions.


1. Accessing the Automations Page

To open the Automations page:

  • Select the Automations tab (lightning bolt icon) in the top-right corner

The page includes:

  • AI Rules

  • Approvals

  • Settings

2. Viewing and Managing AI Rules

The AI Rules section displays rules currently being used.

To manage rules:

  • Review the list of existing rules and their Created Date

  • Select any rule to edit or delete

  • Use the search bar to search rules by keyword

Please Note: The AI will notify you of any conflicts with existing rules before allowing the new rule to be saved.

3. Automation Settings

In the Settings section, configure AI Task Reviewers.

To set reviewers:

  • Select who should review vendor-matching tasks

  • Select who should review job-matching tasks

4. Managing Approval Workflows

The Approval Workflows section allows you to maintain your workflows.

To edit workflows:

  • Select a workflow to edit

  • Duplicate a workflow if needed

  • Add new workflows

5. Viewing AI-Generated Details When Uploading Bills

When a bill is uploaded and read by the AI, a banner appears stating it was autofilled by Adaptive AI.

To view AI-generated details:

  • Select View Details on the banner

  • Scroll to the bottom to see fields edited by AI, including amount, vendor, reference, and other details

  • Select View AI Rules to return to the rules applied to the bill

6. Creating or Updating AI Rules From a Bill

When adjusting AI-predicted values, such as Cost Code, the system displays a Help AI Improve button.

To create or update a rule:

  • Change the incorrect value

  • Select Help AI Improve

  • Follow the prompt to create a new rule
