You can pay your vendors directly from the Adaptive platform. It’s easy too! Here’s how to set up your banking connection:

Step 1: Bank Account Settings

Head to the Settings page by selecting the gear icon on the top left. Select 'Bank Accounts' and choose 'Add Bank Account'

Step 2: Connect with Plaid

You'll be prompted by Plaid to select your banking institution and can follow a series of on-screen steps to securely enter in your username and password information and get set up.

Your bank account is now connected to the platform and you can begin paying bills directly. If you have multiple bank accounts to draw from, repeat the same steps to connect each account.

Step 3a: Optional - Connect with Account Numbers

If the connection fails, you may have to manually connect with your account number. It's an extra step but it's easy! Go through the process again in the Plaid module but this time, scroll down to the bottom of the list of institutions.

You'll see an option that says "Link with account numbers." This option will allow you to connect your bank account even if Plaid fails.

Step 3b: Optional - Connect with Account Numbers

Once you've manually entered in the account and routing numbers, Plaid will prompt you with a security process to ensure you're authenticated.

First, they will send your account "microdeposits", or very small amounts of money. Then, they will request that you confirm the exact value of those microdeposits. Once confirmed, your account will be connected and live for usage on the Adaptive platform!
